It includes a durable body tube, a molded nose cone, laser-cut balsa fins, decals, and a 24-inch recovery parachute. It requires Estes rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, a launch pad system, and 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries for launch use (sold separately).
- SOARS UP TO 750 FT.: Standing at 38.8", our D-Region Tomahawk rocket model replicates the legendary NASA and military-test vehicle with authentic scale detailing and aerodynamic fins. It has an orange engine spacer that allows flexible motor selection and a projected altitude of 750 ft. (229 m) using an E Estes rocket engine (sold separately). This flying model rocket is compatible with D12-3 and E12-4 rocket engines.
- READY TO ASSEMBLE: Rocket building inspires creativity and a passion for science and outer space! Our intermediate-level rocket kit comes ready to build in approximately 1 hour and includes detailed scale parts, water-slide decals, a realistic paint guide, and dual-launch lugs that accommodate 3/16-inch Maxi Rods. Pair it with the Estes Porta-Pad E Launch Pad, a 3/16-inch "Maxi" Launch Rod, and E Launch Controller (sold separately) for a successful blastoff.
